ANTONINI + DARMON, architectes
This site has been built in Flash / Actionscript for the account of two talented parisian architects.
The site's technical distinctiveness - not obviously visible for the visitor - lies in the fact that its contents are entirely dynamic : all textual materials are stored in a MySQL database, all pictures are on the server and not compiled in the .swf.
Thus, this site can be updated completely via a PHP administration interface which generates static XML documents then loaded on the fly by Flash.
The design is as uncluttered as possible: basic shapes based on squares and lines, few colors (black, grey, green), the whole floating on an immaculate white non-background.
The user interface claims to be ergonomic with a back to menu button always accessible and a lot of objects that can be moved by drag & drop.
To be noted: the textual contents present in the flash are copied out - hidden in the html - in order that search engines can index a maximum amount of content.

ARECS.net
ARECS is an acronym for «Association de Recherche et d'Enseignement sur la Clinique dans son rapport au lien Social».
We have been attentive to this association's members in order to create a site with advanced publication features allowing them to publish articles online, introduce their current meeting events and topics, along with making their library catalogue available to the public.
Thus, we have developed a powerful content managing system. Textual contents are entirely stored in a MySQL database well optimised and served dynamically by PHP scripts.
This site really consists of two sites in one, one for the visitors, the other being a complete administration interface with access restricted to the members.
Whether it be for one or the other part, we pitched on readability, ease of use and accessibility made possible by a simple but efficient design giving a lot of space to the texts.

T-Mad band site
This site was created to promote a musical band mostly inspired by flamenco and rumba.
It is endowed with a simplified content management interface enabling the publication of news about the band activity (concert dates and so on) and update a small media library (pictures, mp3).
These pages are then generated dynamically with PHP/MySQL. Media are easily accessible : a simple picture gallery system especially developed produce thumbnails and display them in a classy way, the flash MP3 player (coded par Dew) allows one to directly listen to musical excerpts uploaded on the site.
Although the design may look rather unsophisticated at first glance, it is quite refined. By trying to mix a rigorous stylishness with a certain lyricism, it blends the warm shade of an acoustic guitar wood with straight white lines on a dark background.

MysteriOS
MysteriOS is a work in progress operating system coded by a friend, impassioned of computer programming.
MysteriOS' ambition is not to compete against any other similar project nor pretend to achieve one day a widely used operating system, but rather its author want to improve his programming skills and always learn more and more.
To support this one man challenging project, we had created a design for his site.
A palette of green colors, a minimal but exacting presentation, a top banner trying to symbolise a link between hardware and software.
